ShowNews is where Kiwis find screen news, opportunity, insight and communications

For years, ShowNews has championed New Zealand’s screen industry, connecting crew with work, sharing critical industry insights, and supporting film and television made in Aotearoa.

Created by screen-industry builder Brian Kassler, from Smash Palace Key Grip to Co-Founder of Flying Fish with Lee Tamahori. Kassler created many foundational film businesses like Avondales Hollywood Props. The platform is now run by a team of industry professionals.

ShowNews is powered by its members and sponsors, enabling us to operate independently of the funding bodies.
