Cheil Worldwide is a tech-driven advertising agency with a global team of over 7,000 employees, including 35+ based in New Zealand. We specialise in a broad range of marketing services, including digital, events, creative, retail, and film. This role primarily focuses on working with our key client: Samsung Electronics.
This is currently a 1 year-fixed term, full-time position (40 hours per week), based at our Northcote, Auckland office. With opportunity to extend based on project progress. Hours of work may vary due to production requirements.
About the Role
This role is responsible for running the end-to-end production & creative of an online live shopping show for a prominent tech company in Samsung. You will not only be responsible for pioneering the initial creation and management of this new show’s content, studio and crew, but also making the creative calls around the on-going scripting and execution. As the show will run every weekday as a live online broadcast, you will need to be a great multi-tasker, problem solver and excellent at managing people of diverse and creative backgrounds in fast-paced, live content style environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- End-to-end production management from inception to distribution of an online live shopping show.
- Creative direction of scripting and execution of the show’s content.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest current events down under to incorporate into the scripting.
- Overall project scheduling, resource management and delegation of responsibilities.
- Vetting and hiring show hosts and freelancers, as required.
- Budget management and allocation .
- Creative & production problem solving.
- Be aware of the client’s KPIs and seek solutions to meet them with the live shopping show.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in live event content production and/or equivalent television / online video industry experience.
- Have both creative direction and producing experience in video content.
- Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
