Script to Screen and Film Otago Southland have announced the three teams who’ll participate in the inaugural Southern Pilots initiative.
The initiative offers teams a three-day workshop programme in Otago-Southland next month, plus targeted support for teams and their projects.
The broad aim is to help teams to advance projects towards becoming market-ready, when they’ll be well-prepared to attract key personnel and finance – be that local funding or other investment. As with previous initiatives and support Film Otago Southland has developed, the intention is for projects to be made in (or substantially in) the region, to provide work and opportunities for other Otago Southland screen professionals.
The teams and projects selected for Southern Pilots are:

Writer: Kathryn van Beek, Writer/Director: Pennie Hunt and Producer: Rebecca Rowe
Junction

Southern Skies
