The Screen Accelerator Project aims to help bring productions into Wellington, and New Zealand, and generate much-needed jobs.
Emmy-award winning Hollywood producer Jon Kroll will work with producers to develop their ideas for unscripted content – specifically documentaries, docu-drama series or formatted TV shows, so they can pitch to genuine global buyers.
This year, the project is a condensed 6-week programme consisting of one workshop in Wellington, followed by 5 weeks of online mentoring from Jon and the team from Tall Poppy Films. The project is free of charge but participants will need to cover their own travel expenses to attend the 2 day in-person workshop in Wellington.
