NZ’s film-making comp is back. Here’s why YOU should enter

Opinion: One of the greatest treats of my 2024 arrived in the middle of winter.

I’d signed on to be a regional judge for the Vista Foundation 48Hours film contest, after a few years away. Back before Covid I’d got very impassioned, advocating for a film I still think SHOULD HAVE WON. So I figured it was about time to give someone else a go on the judging panel.

But in 2024, I was very happy to be back, and I had links to a dozen finalists from the Waikato region to watch.
