Wuthering Heights held on to the top spot in its third weekend, adding $262,748 as it continued on 113 screens, and racking up $1,855,760 in total so far.
Opening on a more modest 80 screens, Scream 7 closed the weekend just shy of a quarter million dollars at #2, with $248,491.
At #3, GOAT continued 93 screens, earning $174,274 on the weekend for $$435,015.
Also on 93 screens, Fackham Hall, featuring Thomasin McKenzie, fell out of the top three on its second weekend, placing fifth. It took $$138,670 for a gross to date of $388,948.
Made-in-Canterbury new arrival Holy Days kicked off on 92 screens, taking $123,085 on its opening weekend.

Avatar: Fire and Ash, currently enjoying a strong run in awards season, exited the top 10, down to 22 screens and #16. It added $19,792 for a gross of $11,478,904.
Taratoa Stappard’s Mārama was down to 32 screens, from 58 the previous weekend, placing at #18 at the end of the weekend, having added $15,977 for $177,902.
Two doco titles wrapped up the NZ titles in cinemas over the weekend. Anchor Me: The Don McGlashan Story closed the weekend at #46, adding $625 from 11 screens, for a gross to date of $148,675. On 11 screens, Not Only Fred Dagg earned $556 to place at #49 and grow its gross to $459,263.
Arrivals this week include Rebecca Tansley’s Tenor: My Name is Pati and The Bride!, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s star-studded spin on Frankenstein.
