The NSW government has opened an Expressions of Interest (EOI) process to find the location and industry partner to deliver Sydney’s long-awaited second studio.
The government earmarked a $100 million capital fund for the project as part of its 2025-26 Budget. The facility would mark the most significant expansion of Sydney’s screen infrastructure since the opening of Fox Studios Australia in Moore Park in 1998 (now Disney Studios).
