Loren Taylor’s feature film The Moon is Upside Down has secured a prestigious nomination at this year’s Online Film Critics Society (OFCS) Awards, earning a place among the ten international films recogniSed for Best Non-U.S. Release. The OFCS, established in 1997, consists of nearly 300 critics worldwide, representing esteemed publications such as Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Slant, Paste Magazine, AARP, and Sight & Sound.
The OFCS annually acknowledges the finest international films released outside the United States. The Moon is Upside Down joins a stellar lineup, including Sophie Fiennes’ Acting, Silver Bear winner Dying, and Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s Cloud. The top honour of Best Picture was awarded to Anora.
This marks the third significant international accolade for The Moon is Upside Down, following its win for Best First Feature at the prestigious Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and the Special Jury Award at the Santa Fe International Film Festival.
