More Q&A hosts announced for The Weed Eaters tour

As acclaimed local film The Weed Eaters makes its way south on THE BIG FORKING TOUR, a second helping of outstanding Q&A hosts has been announced.

This April’s advance screenings across the South Island will let audiences discover their new favourite New Zealand film, get to meet The Weed Eaters filmmakers, and learn more about how it was made in post-film Q&As.

Each night on The Big Forking Tour, Callum Devlin (director/producer), Finnius Teppett (scriptwriter/producer), Samuel Austin (DoP/actor), Alice May Connolly and Annabel Kean (actor-producers) are joined by a special Q&A host.

In keeping with the eclectic nature of the film – and the hosts to date – there’s more than a whiff of pot luck to The Weed Eaters South Island hosts: a filmmaker, projectionist, journalist, Flying Nun legend, former Mayor, current Mayor, renowned artist, and a horror academic.

The Weed Eaters crew can’t wait to hear their questions – and those of audiences attending these very special screenings.

Already hailed as “the most fun I’ve had at the movies in a long time” by The Spinoff and picked as the favourite film of NZIFF by Flicks, the darkly comic film follows four millennial slackers on a secluded New Year’s getaway. Stumbling across their reclusive host’s long-forgotten stash of ancient cannabis, their holiday high takes a nightmare turn into accidental cannibalism…

See it with your best buds as The Big Forking Tour comes to the South Island.
