One of New Zealand’s most successful directors is currently filming in the capital, with the film’s producer saying he was enjoying being back on his “home turf”.
Oscar-nominated director Andrew Niccol (Gattaca) has started production on his latest film, I, Object.
Niccol won an academy award for writing The Truman Show’s screenplay, which he also co-produced. His directorial debut, Gattaca, was a nominee for best Art Direction in the 1998 Academy Awards.
