Auckland is buzzing with International filming productions – will Florence Pugh join in the action too?
It’s been ‘lights, cameras, action’ around Auckland over the last few months and the action looks set to carry through into summer.
Spy understands that in Auckland come spring, Netflix is set to film mini-series East of Eden, which reportedly stars English A-list star Florence Pugh. She is at the top of her Hollywood game, receiving Academy and Bafta nominations for her role in Little Women in 2019.
Since then, Pugh has shared the screen with Harry Styles in Don’t Worry Darling and shone in the ensemble cast of last year’s Oppenheimer.
Sources tell Spy that East of Eden, which also has the working name of Timshell, is due to start filming in Auckland from September through March next year.
