The Adaptive Boxing Event is the first one of its kind in New Zealand. The event was held on Saturday 23rd of March in South Auckland. The event featured adaptive, able, and exhibition matches, along with entertainment from local dancers. The audience and participants were provided with closed captioning, appropriate lighting, accessible rings, and boxing gear.

Dead Slate Studios were chosen to cover the match and the practices leading up to the event to form a Documentary that is now in Post-Production.
