‘Damn it! I’ll set up in Christchurch’ – film veteran’s new venture

An international film crew shooting a commercial in Canterbury could bring about $400,000 to the local economy, Brett Mills says – and the film veteran has just made it easier for those projects to happen.

The founder of the successful Queenstown Camera Company – which works with “all the TV shows that shoot down there” – has stocked his new Christchurch-based South Island Cameras (SIC) venture with more than $1 million of professional equipment.
