The New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, handed out last week, gave wins to of the five NZ titles nominated for awards.
Taking away Gold Towers were South Pacific Pictures’s Live and Let Dai, in the documentary category; and thedownlowconcept’s Bigsies and Littles in the entertainment programme category.
Also in the entertainment programme category, series 11 of SPP’s The Brokenwood Mysteries took a Bronze Tower. SPP and thedownlowconcept each had one more nomination, SPP for series 4 of Educators in the streaming comedy category, and thedownlowconcept for My Favourite Dead Person, in the entertainment programme category.
The Storytellers Gala also handed out awards for radio, with RNZ (4 awards), Newstalk (2) and NZME (1) coming away with wins.
