The Fantastic Four: First Steps took $150,016 from 108 screens, ending the weekend at #3 with a total take of $2,338,495.
The highest-placed NZ title over the weekend was again doco The House Within, which added $791 for a total of $44,781.
One week away from being in cinemas for six months, Tinā played 9 screens, took $732, for a gross take of $6,481,933.
On a single screen, A Minecraft Movie took $450 for a total of $10,007,826.
Also on a single screen, the returning The Rule of Jenny Pen took $433 and has now grossed $49,043.
M3gan2.0 earned $120 from 2 screens, for $201,088.
New arrivals this week include the remake of Naked Gun with Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, thriller Relay with the ever-reliable Riz Ahmed, and (fresh from its premiere in the NZIFF) local title Workmates.
