There were no changes to the placings of the top three over the weekend, with I Know What You Did Last Summer the weekend’s highest-placed new arrival at #5.
Superman held on to the #1 spot, earning $667,172 from 110 screens on its second weekend, for a total of $2,301,434.
On 109 screens and still second, Jurassic World Rebirth, took $369,073, lifting its gross to $3,785,782.
At #3, F1 The Movie took $326,689 from 112 screens, and now has a total take of $3,936,659.
Tinā added $3,960 from 19 screens and now has $6,443,221 here, plus its take in Australia and a US theatrical release to come.
Kōkā took $3,145 from 39 screens and has now earned $227,623.
Continuing its fairly swift descent, M3gan2.0 continued its fairly rapid decline, took $451 from 11 screens, and has a gross take of $200,696.
The People We Love took $324 from a single screen, and now has a total take of $43,011.
Also on a single screen, Marlon Williams: Ngā Ao E Rua – Two Worlds took $67 for a gross of $229,103.
On a single screen, for the second weekend, James & Isey took $27.
Titles opening this week include The Fantastic Four: First Steps, with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, and Julia Garner as The Silver Surfer.
