Box Office report: 18 February 2024

As it did in plenty of other territories, Bob Marley: One Love conquered all, playing a very wide 117 screens and ending the weekend as #1. The film took $574,585, adding to the almost $300K it took on its opening day, Valentine’s Day, to total $862,409. The film’s opening day was NZ’s biggest for both a music biopic and for Valentine’s Day.

The previous weekend’s second-ranked title, Argylle, dropped one spot to third. From 102 screens, it added $88,871 for a total take of $791,020.

Robert Connolly’s Aussie thriller Force of Nature: The Dry 2 dropped to sixth, still on 107 screens, for a total of $224,790.
